“My husband and I have visited restaurants on Ocean Road for years now as we love a good curry. We were excited to try this new restaurant as it had great reviews, and I can tell you, we were not disappointed! Our first time, not only were we impressed with the lovely setting, our starters of ‘Prawn Bhuna on Puree’ and ‘Sheek Roll Kebab’ were simply divine. I adore a variety of tastes, so I chose the ‘Tandoori Cocktail’ as a main. My husband chose for the ‘Chef’s Special Lamb Dish’. Both were rich with flavour and definitely something to write home about. We are now regulars and intend to work our way through every dish on the menu. What we love is that Jai Ho offers a take away service as well, so we can have our favorite meals from the comfort of our own home. We’re so glad Jai Ho has arrived!”

"I first met Khamal when he came to the BNI Cookson Chapter as a visitor to see if we could help promote his restaurant, Jai Ho in South Shields. As someone who does not like curries, I always turned down the curry nights the Chapter held until Khamal said he would be happy to cook something specially for me. So I gave the restaurant a try and I must say I was not disappointed, when everyone else had the delicious (or so they tell me) curries, Khamal cooked me chicken and it was delicious.
